Our Free Museum and Gift Shop are Open Fridays 11am - 3pm & Saturdays 10am - 4pm.
Our membership meetings are held at the Fallbrook Gem & Mineral Society meeting room (123 W. Alvarado Street, Fallbrook) at 6:30 pm on the 2nd Thursday of the month September-May, except for the 3rd Thursday in February.
FGMS was founded in 1957. We are a group of individuals who share common interests in gems, minerals, jewelry, geology, paleontology and the related earth sciences and lapidary arts. The Society is based in Fallbrook, San Diego County, California -- just a "stone's throw" from some of the most productive gem mining areas in the United States. Whether you're interested in local geology or gemology, you are welcome to join our members for guest lectures, workshops, lapidary classes, field trips, gem and mineral shows - Rough N' Cut in March and Fall Festival of Gems & Minerals in October - and more.
Come and see what we've been hiding in Fallbrook!
